PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL CAMPS WITH GREGG ZAUN

For over 30 years Gregg Zaun has dedicated his lifes passion to the sport of baseball.  His journey has taken him down nearly every road possible in a single career.  His experiance is now being shared with a vision to grow baseball talent in Canada.  His clinics are not only for players young and old, but more importantly for coaches and organizations alike.

HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE

  • CLASSROOM TIME - Lectures are given on the fundamentals of the game. Remember it is through the proper execution of fundamentals that you will become a good baseball player.
  • TRAINING ACTIVITES- Drills are used to teach campers the skills necessary to succeed and the notion of teamwork.
  • SPECIFIC STATIONS - When performing stations, campers will be broken down to no more than 10-15 campers per section. At each section is one or more of our professional coaches. Each station will last approximately 20 minutes. During this time a specific aspect of the game will be covered, for example, postioning, footwork, anticipation, etc.
  • GAMES - We want every moment of the clinic to be a learning experience for every camper. It is for this reason that during games, if a camper makes a mistake or does not execute properly, one of our coaches will show him/her what he/she did wrong and how to do it right. It’s another way of instructing our campers, and leaves them more knowledgeable and improved in their skills.
  • PERSONAL INSTRUCTIONS - Our camps are known for offering a personal touch and providing individual attention some campers may need to maximize the benefit of the game and understand more throughly. Staff is always available, on or off the field, to help campers improve their skills.
  • TEACH TO UNDERSTAND - We want all participants to understand the reasoning behind our methods. It is for this reason that our coaches take the time to explain the reasoning behind why your execution is paramount. If campers can understand the methods, they are more likely remember them long after leaving camp.

Be sure to contact us with any questions you may have.  If your son, daughter, team or organization require any special requirements these can be arranged before the training camp.

About Gregg Zaun

Drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 1989 MLB Draft, Zaun reached the majors in 1995. After being traded to the Florida Marlins, Zaun won a World Series in 1997. After that, Gregg continued to live his major-league dreams, but it wasn’t until 2004 when the Blue Jays made him their starting catcher that Zaun finally felt at home.
